Hi Team,

Here are some issues from the customer may need your help:

1. Can they use diode to instead of low frequency tube when debugging Totem Pole PFC circuit?

2. Is the voltage loop necessary when debugging Totem Pole PFC circuit(DC/DC)?

Hi,

1, diode rectifier is good, but it may out of control under light load, as the power stage entered DCM mode. You may add some load at the beginning.

2, Lab1 is used to debug DC openloop; Lab2 is used to debug DC current loop; Lab3 is used to debug AC current loop. All these build settings are not inlcuding voltage loop.

The customer use Lab2, the current loop PI output TTLPFC_gi_out is 1 or -1, and the duty is less than zero, how to modify it?

Lab2 is used to check your current loop control in DC input.

You can check whether your input voltage is correctly sensed. If your input voltage polarity is reversed, LF MOS will be wrong triggered and short the input, which will futher block the input & output voltage setup correctly.

How to determine the parameters of the PI regulator in LAB2? How to calculate an approximate value such as P and I.

Kp of current loop can be 0.5; Ki of current loop can be 0.02.

Only Lab4 includes voltage loop. Lab2 is set for DC current loop.

You can use kp_v = 1.2; Ki_v = 0.0002, for voltage loop
