Why on Earth did TI had to put CAN with QEP2 on the same pins? I was hoping this controller becomes a F2808 with CLA and FPU, which is a brilliant idea, now it messes up my application that had a motor control using QEP1 as closed loop control and QEP2 as a follower...Hope they revise this controller in the future. Thanks!

    David,

    To me it looks like you can use both CAN, QEP1, and QEP2 at the same time in the F28069.

    QEP1:  can come out of GPIO20-23   or   GPIO50-53
    QEP2:  can come out of GPIO24-27   or   GPIO54-57  (an additional index and strobe signal can come out of GPIO30 and GPIO31)
    CAN:  comes out of GPIO30 & GPIO31
