TMS320F2812 INPUT CAPTURE

you can do this with capture as as GPIO.

With GPIo i have done it. The GPIO scanning will be driven by your maximum signal frequency.

But Capture mode is the best option to implement this.

I am trying now the capture mode and needed help for configuration of Capture mode for TMS320F2812/10.

If anyone has done for these controllers, please share the details.

I really need an example code to use in capture unit mode, to detect a rising edge.

Hi Oscar,

You can do this with GPIO as well as CAPTURE mode.

For GPIO mode steps are as below:

             1. Configure pin as digital input.

             2. Scan the digital input pin with frequency at least 2 times more that minimum positive width possible.

For Capture Mode:

         1. Configure the digital input pin for capture mode.

         2. Configure the capture register for rising edge interrupt

I want to use capture units, so i can control the interrupot. I want to know capture unit configuration. I didnt find any example code. If you have an example code using capture units i realyy apreciate.
