TIDM-02002: Value changes in schematic

Hi all
I noticed there is a difference in transformer values and inductor arrangement used in the design guide vs the values in the schematic.
In the design guide there is separate inductors for the primary and secondary sides. But tin the schematic there is only one transformer. No separate inductors. Also, Transformer ration is changed from 1.33:1 to 1.6:1
Can you please give some insight about this.
Does the two inductors are embedded into transformer leakage inductance?
If so how both primary and secondary inductors both are fulfilled by the Leakage inductance.

TIDM-02002 uses a transformer module with resonant inductors integrated. There are two hardware revisions that you could apply TIDM-02002 firmware on:

1. PMP21495, which has transformer turns ratio of 1.6:1 (8:5).

2. PMP21999, which has transformer turns ratio of 1.33:1 (8:6).

Thank you for the explanation.

But there is only one design guide and it doesnt have the values related to pmp21495.

How can in find the pmp31999.

How can i find the corresponding values.

With this change, resonant frequency, gain and voltage range should be changed accordingly.

Also, there is only two parameters included for transformer.

Lp and Lr. What are those values..

Is Lp equals Lm?.

is the Lr equivalent inductance of primary and secondary L1 andL1, referenced to primary side?.

Damith,

Lp is the primary winding inductance measured with secondary winding open.

Lr1 is the primary winding series/leakage inductance measured with secondary winding shorted.

Lr2 is the secondary winding series/leakage inductance measured with primary winding shorted.

For PMP21495 transformer, Lp=25uH, Lr1=1.5uH, Lr2=0.585uH, Np:Ns = 8:5.

For PMP21999 transformer, Lp=25uH, Lr1=1.9uH, Lr2=1.3uH, Np:Ns = 8:6.
