TMS320F28034: CAN BUSOFF detection example

Hi team

My customer reported that when doing the CANBUSOFF test, the interference frame generates BUSOFF, during which the error flag bit is not detected occasionally. I am not familiar with C2000 and could you help give your comments on this case? If you could help share a example of CANBUSOFF detection, that would be great. I could ask the customer to refer to the example first.

As of now, we do not have an example of CANBUSOFF detection.

My customer gave me the following code but it seems that it is not complete, I could ask the customer to give the complete code but could you help check if this is what you want?

Shawn,

The BO bit in CANES register is not a reliable way of detecting a bus-off condition. Instead, use the CCR bit in CANMC register.
