LAUNCHXL-F280025C: Flash programming in Linux

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F280025C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to flash a new firmware to his LAUNCHXL-F280025C launchpad without using Code Composer. The environment he has access to is limited (Linux server build, with serial connection to the launchpad)

According to our customer the thread below conclude that Linux is not supported, so the user modified the TI-provided tool for certain Linux distributions.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000-microcontrollers-group/c2000/f/c2000-microcontrollers-forum/1021038/tms320f28062-serial-flash-programmer-c2000-under-linux-rpi

However, on page 2 of the USB Flash Programming of C2000Tm Microcontrollers application report in the link below Linux is mentioned.

Can you please clarify if there is support for Linux or none?

Regards,

Danilo
