I reached out to the SPI expert and can confirm that SPIDAT (IN) - denoting the signal that is being fed into the SPIDAT register, corresponds to SPI-SOMI.

Can you post a screenshot of what you are referring to? I couldn't find what you are referring to in the TRM. QCLK should refer to the internal QCLK signal derived in the eQEP peripheral, I don't believe it has any relation to the SCI peripheral

By the way, as description of Table29-2, the 27bit local input of CLB1/2/3/4 is SPI Data in. Is it also corresponds to SPI-SOMI ?
