TMS320F28375S-Q1: Fan-Out Load

Part Number: TMS320F28375S-Q1

I am aware that the parameter is likely very high (>1000) and fan-out load of the microcontroller far exceeds realistic circuit logic, but I am interested to find out if TI specifies an actual fan-out load for this particular series of microcontrollers.

Thanks!

  • Tomas,

There is no specific fanout limit.  I would direct you to the IBIS models available in the models section to simulate your specific system.  For back of the envelope calculations, the output impedance of the output buffers is on the order of 50-100Ohms (some pins are lower than others).  I don't know if you are more concerned with fast switching or DC load.  For the DC case the outputs are rated at 2mA output current while still maintaining their Voh/Vol voltage levels.

    Best regards,
    Jason
