in the assembly language tools book, it is said that "ascii file only support 16bit address", 28335 support 256kw address, if i use more than 64k flash space , whether can i use this file format?
Please provide the page and literature number of the document you are referring to, in order to help you better.
Let me reach out to the appropriate experts on this. May take 2-3 days to get a reply.
One of our experts in the Tools group did some testing with large files and hex2000 generates the --ascii $Aaddress as 6 hex digits, which equates to 24 bits of address.
The documentation for this format is incorrect for C2000. I've filed https://sir.ext.ti.com/jira/browse/EXT_EP-10939 to track this as a documentation bug.
