TMS320F28377D-Q1: Connect with AMC3336-Q1 via SDFM

It is normal practice to use a PWM output on the MCU to generate the 20MHz clock for the AMC3336 device as well as the SDFM input clock. The AMC3336 will output a series of 1s and their density will counted by the SDFM module. Based on this density, you can calculate the input voltage seen at the AMC3336 input.

thank you for your support, I looked into your link and it still does not quite answer my question.

Because it explain the behaviour of the ADC and bit stream not SDFM module.

BTW, I found my thead in another "Data Converter Forum" already as it follow AMC3336-Q1 catagory, the engineer there answer my 1st question.

But he still cannot answer the question about reading this AMC3336's bitstream by C2000 hardware.

So the remaing question is only related to TMS320F28377D hardware (PIN-98, GPIO54, SD1_D4)

This is only pin left for the current PCBA design, I wish this pin should able to read the AMC3336 Output.

Would you have any further link for me to check on this possibility of hardware design?

The SDFM does not need to know the beginning of the data stream. The data is filtered and averaged by the SDFM.
