TMS320F280040-Q1: Can build configuration selection be saved in the project?

Hi,

In the folder where the project is stored, there are three files

• .ccprojecr
• .cproject
• .project

I think the project settings are stored in .cproject. 

Can you check if these files are checkedin and checked out to/from repo?

Yes, they are. 

The change from applying C2000Ware 4.01 to 4.02 is stored in .cproject. It was updated yesterday.

Can you use git diff to look the difference when you save the active build configuration to flash?

Git status shows that .ccsproject is modified. But git diff doesn't show any details.

After the configuration is changed from RAM to FLASH, once the project is deleted and imported again, it goes back RAM configuration.

Are you importing from projectspec file or .cproject ?

The changes FLASH as default build configuration has been made to the original project from you are using to import, right?

I don't know which specific file. Just select the project folder where  all of .ccsproject, .cproject, .project are.

Yes, the configuration change to FLASH was made and the project was build for FLASH and loaded to MCU to run independently without debugger. But once it is deleted and imported again, it goes back RAM configuration.

I just wanted to make sure you are changing to source project? This is the project you are importing from, so this should have your changes.

Here is how it imported:

Just need to select the folder. I don't know which file it used to identify the project.

The configuration is changed to Flash.

Then delete the project from the work space. Then import again the project from the same folder it was imported last time. 

The configuration goes back to RAM. It was not saved.
