Customer was using a 10MHz crystal, with the below spec:
1) max ESR = 300 ohm
2) load cap = 10pF
3) drive level = 100uW
Presently they used C1=C2=10pF.
We found the risk that the ESR was too large, and the drive level was below 1mW. Could you please help check what is the suggested dampening resistor Rd value for this crystal? With such large ESR, is it possible to keep the present design without Rd?
