I was checking latest TMS320F28388D datasheet, where on page 4, Figure 3-1 the MCAN (CAN-FD) peripheral is connected to CPU1.CLA and CPU1.DMA, but the Table8-9 on page 255 does not show that the MCAN peripheral can be accessed from C28 CPU1.
I would like to know if there is any easy way how the MCAN peripheral can be accessed from CPU1 without using M4 core.
Hi,
Due to Thanksgiving Holiday, the subject matter expert is out of office. We will get back to you next week.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Petr,
The colors of the arrows in figure 3-1 may be misleading due to subtle differences in shading, but yes, CAN-FD is accessible from C28 CPU1. You can start with several software examples in C2000Ware under driverlib/f2838x/examples/c28x/mcan for how to access mcan using the C28 core. Latest C2000Ware release is C2000Ware_4_02_00_00.
