Hello experts,

I want to fill a data structure or a RAM area with zero or with another value. Are there any functions like FillMemory() or ZeroMemory()? If yes, in which declaration file are functions for RAM manipulation?

Hello Bui,

To clear entire RAM sections, you can use the "MemCfg_initSections(uint32_t ramSections)" function in memcfg.h. You can find the function itself on line 629 of the memcfg.c file within C2000Ware driverlib (C2000Ware_4_XX_XX_XX\driverlib\<device number>\driverlib). This allows you to clear multiple RAM sections (see the header file for more details on the enumerators used as the function parameter). You can also use "MemCfg_getInitStatus(uint32_t ramSections)" to monitor the status of clearing a specific RAM section.

Hi Long,

it is exactly what I am looking for. In the file string.h, where memset can be found, I see a lot of other functions for ram manipulation.
