TMS320F28377D: TMS320F28377D

I found an example that is configured for empty_sysconfig_XXX, how can i reconfigure it for LaunchPad? I tried to add LaunchPad F28379D, but it is not recognized

Please provide details on which empty sysconfig project did you try to reconfigure for LaunchPad.

Hi Vadim,

For the first part related to driverlib.h , you will need to add the path of the driverlib as an include path in the project's properties. You can do that by right clicking on the project -> Select Properties ->Include options under the compiler settings. 

Regarding the LaunchPad F28379D.syscfg.json, are you adding it as a board? How did you try to add LaunchPad F28379D?

Hi Siddharth,

I was told that there is a known bug in saving .syscfg file. The simplest option is to import a project that has this file configured and saved. empty_syscongig_176ptp is an example of such empty project for 176pin part, but not for a board. I can add the .syscfg file manually and select a board, but cannot save it because of that bug

I have this syscfg file with launchpad pinouts

but I cannot save it. Can you create a LaunchPad_empty project configured for a board? Or instruct me to modify and save .syscfg file for Launchpad board?

Yes,  there is a known bug in saving .syscfg file. 

You can import an existing syscfg project and try the switch option to change the board or device

You can click on the "Show Device View" icon and you will see a "Switch" button. When you click on this button, you will be able to see this pop-up.

If I close the new .syscfg file i get 

I say yes, but when I reopen, it  still the chip, not a board configuration. Could you please check it on your side?

I am able to replicate the issue . I think there is an issue with saving the .syscfg file. 

Please try using the attached .projectspec file and create a new project?  It has the board specified as an argument and it is showing the board view when you import and open the syscfg file .

The projectspec should be placed in C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_4_02_00_00\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\pinmux\CCS folder.
