TMS320F28379D: How to read and understand .MAP file

Hi,

I am using flash data emulation to store some configuration and calibration data's.

Initially i have done this when i was creating project.

I have added all the peripherals and logics one by one.

Now am getting some error like controller getting into halt state when executing Fapi_initializeAPI this function.

Am thinking to see the .map file and can change memory location

Please share your thoughts and give me some suggestion to solve this issue.

Hi Vasu,

The Flash subject matter expert is out of office due to holiday break and please expect response by 1st week of January. Apology for inconvenience.

Regarding reviewing the map file, please open the folder where it has .out file. Map file will also be in the same folder. If CCS is opened, just double-click, and it will open the map file within CCS. You can also open it in any editor.

I had open .map file already but i can;t able to understand.

And i want to solve the memory issue.
