Hi team,

When I used the Ecan module of 2812 to communicate, I worked in Ecan mode. After setting the mailbox filter, the host could only receive the information of one site. Host sending mailbox was 8c800000 and host receiving mailbox was cc700000. Site 1's sending mailbox was 8c540000 and its receiving mailbox was 8c800000. Site 2's sending mailbox was 8c530000 and its receiving mailbox was 8c800000. Host receiving LAM was F0FFFFFF. Could you please tell me whether my settings are okay?

Kind regards,

Katherine

  • Bits 27, 26, 25, 24 of the host LAM is 0000. Therefore, these bits in the MSGID of the transmitting mailboxes in site1 and site 2 must match exactly. All other bits are “don’t care”. These bits do match exactly for both sites, so I don’t understand why messages from both sites are not being received properly. Please check if the messages are indeed transmitted on the bus. Refer to www.ti.com/lit/SPRA876 for a working mask filtering example.

The MSGIDs of the receiving mailboxes in site1 and site2 (and the transmitting MSGID of the host) are irrelevant for this analysis.
