TMS320F28377S: EVM for Producing the Output at MCLKXA, MFSXA & MDXA

Good day.

The newer version is acceptable for my new project which is TMS320F28377S.

My earlier concern was we were using TMS320F2810 and we are planning to modify the already-developed software in the new version. Our earlier employee who developed the software is left and hence I have been assigned to continue where I need to start from the very beginning although I am familiar with C etc development.

 In order to quickly develop the software for a new project, learning DSP now. In view of this,

Please suggest the best Evaluation Module so that I should be producing the Output at MCLKXA, MFSXA & MDXA as Sine Wave output with associated externally connected DAC so that my output will be a controlled/regulated sine wave. The variable input will be a serial potentiometer having pulse output. Typically, our old software has been used with IQmath functions for real-time output generation of a sine wave.

 In view of the above, I quickly need to learn to begin our production. Therefore, please advise the best Evaluation Board and share other typical examples to use quickly.

    I would recommend starting with the F28379D controlCARD (https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSCNCD28379D ). Unfortunately, we don't have an evaluation board for the F28377S specifically, but I think the other should still meet your development needs.

     In view of the above, I quickly need to learn to begin our production. Therefore, please advise the best Evaluation Board and share other typical examples to use quickly.

    Further to the earlier query with the request, the F28379D control CARD  is not available as STOCK presently. Therefore, TMS320F280039CEvalnModControlCARD is being planned to learn the concepts and later move with the F28379D control card.

     What is your expert advice for this plan?

     BTW, is there any device in the series of F28003x having 6 nos. ADC, EPWM, or GPIO of 10 nos. MCLKXA, MFSXA & MDXA   with additional 2 nos. Of SCI I.e. serial communication interface to create my new project requirements.

    The F28003x device does not have a McBSP module. If you need to use the McBSP module then I suggest getting the F2838x controlCARD (TMDSCNCD28388D) for evaluation. The F2838x device does have the McBSP module with 4 SCI modules, 4 ADCs, and 32 EPWM channels.

    There are examples located at C2000Ware_4_XX_XX_XX\libraries\math\IQmath\c28\examples\C. There are no examples for the F2837xS device, but I believe it should still work. I believe the only examples available are ones that are generating sine waves.
