TMS320F280049: How to achieve chip selection automatically when using RS485

The method that the customer using now is using delay in program and selecting chip after sent complete by using judgment statement.

I apologize for this vague expression. I guess conditional statements(like if{}) is the more precise expression.

The customer achieve chip selection by using customer software now. He want to know is there any hardware solution to achieve this function?

Yale,

I did look around but could not find any hardware solution for it. There are other serial communication like SPI which have a chip select line but not sure for RS485.
