TMS320F28379D: PMSM Current Control

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Hello,

I am trying to control dq- axis currents of PMSM with Model Predictive Control. I made some simulation about it and I am doing experimental studies now. PMSM turns with sinusoidal pulse width modulation in open loop. However, when I activate the control algorithm, DC voltage source becomes short circuit. I didn't find a problem in the control algorithm and I checked it several times. I am thinking that this might be related with rotor offset angle of PMSM. If I enter wrong offset value in the algorithm, Can I still control dq- axis currents of PMSM? Or Can the inaccuracy in this offset value break the whole system? Thank you for your responses.
