Is there any application note or reference is available for using MCAN Module as standard CAN module???

    Hi Bharat,

    You can start with the example classic transmit in C2000Ware.  In the example, the FD (flexible data) mode bit is disabled.  This is the bit that selects the CAN operation to either be MCAN (FD) or DCAN (classic/standard).  To make the software transition seamless from MCAN to DCAN, our software team is working on using the same function calls as DCAN on routines like defining message objects, bit timing, tx and rcv.  I believe this is planned to be released later this year.  There are currently no plans at the moment for an application note that i know of but once the MCAN/DCAN migration is released, it will be supplemented by examples.
