Hi Team,

Our customer using C2000 device with TI-RTOS offline(without debugger). It works normally at the beginning. But all of the tasks on the device will be stopped during aging test(almost 100 hours).

How to output information to help diagnosis? (Like output through the serial port or network port.)

Are they specifically looking to output the TI-RTOS logs or are they just looking for any method that would allow them to capture debug information? Is there a particular data rate they're trying to achieve?

Using SCI to establish a connection with a PC COM port is an option. They can look at the sci_echoback example in C2000Ware for guidance.

They are looking for some method to capture debug information which is based on their TI-RTOS project.

Thanks for the additional details. I still think SCI is probably the best option. Alternatively, they could use SPI to send data over some kind of USB SPI adapter.

Hi Whitney,

The customer wants to know what specific measures are available to help obtain fault information. For example, whether it is possible to call the corresponding API function in the program, or read some registers, or the sysbios system provides related variables to help judge, rather than the way of outputting information.

I would start by calling the "get status" function of the particular modules they're interested in checking. For example, call Task_stat() to get the status of each of their Tasks, Semaphore_getCount() to find out the status of their Semaphores, etc...
