TMS320F280048-Q1: BootPins usage as ePWM8

Hi,

In my board, I connected GPIO24 and GPIO32 to 3.3V with pull-up resistors as you can see below. It represents that device default boot mode is FLASH. 

However, these pins are also can be configured as EPWM8A-8B. In my digital power application, I need a new time-base counter that is sync. to ePWM4A. 

 (I won't provide output waveform at those epwm's. I will just use its time-base to generate SYNCPER signals.)

Can I also use safely these GPIO24 and GPIO32 as EPWM?
