TMS320F2808: IEC60730/UL1998 requirement

Dear Champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

The user uses F2808/F2809 in their product for years.

Now, the user is required to support IEC60730/UL1998.

We notice in later products like F2833x/23x/F2806x, there are IEC60730 packages.

Questions:

If the user refer to the above package on F2833x and try to migrate it back onto F2808/F2809, do you think they can use it for IEC60720/UL1998 ceritification?

Or we don't suggest because of some HW limitation?
