TMS320F28386D: How to use the ClockTree Tool in sysconfig?

Part Number: TMS320F28386D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Hi team,

Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:

As shown in the figure above, if the Device Support feature is used, the system clock tree is configured through the ClockTree Tool. The default crystal used is 25 MHz and the custom board crystal is 10 MHz. How to modify this file through the sysconfig tool? (The customer knows how to configure the clock, but direct modification of the clocktree.h file is not allowed in CCS projects)

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry

  • Cherry,

To select Clock Tree tool, make sure to click on clocktree symbol shown in small square below. Once clock tree tool is selected, you need to select XTAL in XTAL_OR_X1 MUX.

XTAL default frequency is 10 MHz. But, if you wish to change it, select XTAL and change the XTAL Frequency (in MHz).

We encourage you / customer to send feedback on clock tree tool. Your feedback is important us to improve the tool for future releases.

    Regards,

    Manoj
