TMS320F28388D: Request for new version of TMS320F28388D with increased shared RAM betwen CLA and C28X DSP

hi,

      Is there any feasibility from TI side to produce a new variant of TI DSP TMS320F28388D,  if there is a request from an organisation to increase the shared RAM  size between CLA and C28X core. Curently we are finding it very hard to acomodate the code in the available 32KB shared RAM of CLA. we are looking for around 128KB of shared RAM.

This is little urgent and it is needed to take a decision whethere to dump this processor TMS320F28388D and go with another vendor with more RAM and serves the purpose.

For your information, we would like to use both the C28X cores and oth the associated CLAs for the project.

    Hi Suresh,

    We are not planning to have new version of this device but there is another device from C2000 which has 64KB RAM for CLA. It is more than what we have on TMS320F28388D but still not meeting the requirement you have mentioned. Next year we'll have another device which should be able to meet this requirement.
