Meanwhile, Please take a look at the same html file. It does provides function details - arguments and return values. for example if you click the function, it will take you to the details on function which explains what is the return values.

In addition to Santosh's recommendation, you can take a look at the "error" example provided with SYS/BIOS for some demonstration of how some of these function are used.
