TMDSCNCD28335: Problem with SCI communication

Hi Team,

Can you please help us with our customer's inquiry below?

I bought F28335 Controlcard from TI website for 1 month ago.

But I have a problem with SCI communication

The communication alway fail when I use with PSIM.

If compared to the previous lot that I've never encountered this problem.

I bought 4 controlcard, but I just found only one.

I try to use SCI communication through on board RS-232 (GPIO 28,29 SCI-A)

The communication will lost and a data will distort every time when MCU start up for a few seconds later.

I try to build a same code and same environment to another controlcard but there is no problem.

I'm checking with our customer which of the controlCARDs is working and which are not. I will post an update once he replied.

    Does it always fail without PSIM? Is the SCI involved with using the PSIM?

    Is the same docking station used for all of the controlCARDs or do they each have their own? (or is the customer using something else)? Does the SCI report any errors?

    Have the switches on the controlCARD been compared between a working one and a non-working one?
