TMDSCNCD28379D: TMDSCND280049C

Part Number: TMDSCNCD28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSCNCD280049C, C2000WARE,

I compared the pin out of the control board 280049 and 379.

However, it seems the former 120 pins are exactly the same.

The only difference is that 379 has 60 more GPIO outputs.

And on the DAB product, which has 180 pins on the board. So I wonder can I use the 379 control board directly? (Leave the latter 60 pins unused)

  • Hi Fan,

Yes, Looking at the HSEC connector you can skip the bottom 60 pins and just use 120 pin.

But make sure F280049C control card is pin to pin compatible to replace F28379 for the DAB application.

  • Hi Uttam,

    Thanks for your reply.

How can I check if the F280049C control card is pin-to-pin compatible?

I don't fully understand the 2 pdf files that I uploaded. Could you please explain this to me in more detail?

    Thanks a lot.

  • Hi Fan,

At the below location you find 120 pinout PDF for F280049C control card & compare it with 180 pin out for F28379D control card.

Check for all the PWMs, ADC if using any differential signals, are communications at the right pins or not, etc...

Though we retain the standard locations for PWMs, ADC and any communications on the control cards. Its good to verify from your end based on the application.

    Best,
