Hi,

We have Implemented Code to read Internal temperature sensor ADC values. We are able to get ADC readings when ADC reference voltage mode is Internal. When we switch the ADC reference voltage mode as External( and connected VREFHI pin is connected to 3.3v), unable to get accurate  Internal temperature sensor ADC values(Always ADC value is setting to 4095). We want to read other ADC channels including Internal temperature sensor by selecting ADC reference voltage mode as External. Selecting ADC reference voltage mode as external, does it affects on the readings of Internal temperature sensor?  Is there any standard procedure? Could you please help me with this?

    Hello Rohit,

    Are you using the driverlib function ADC_getTemperatureC(tempResult, ADC_REFERENCE_EXTERNAL, 3.3) to get the temperature sensor reading?

    Also please confirm that you have called ASysCtl_setAnalogReferenceExternal(ASYSCTL_VREFHI), and you have enabled the temperature sensor by calling ASysCtl_enableTemperatureSensor().
