Hello,
I am wondering if it is possible to operate the ePWM peripheral in complimentary half bridge mode with dead time for channels that are not paired?
For example, I can operate ePWM6A and ePWM6B in complimentary half bridge mode with dead time between the two PWM signals. Can I do the same for, say, ePWM6A and ePWM7A?
Thanks!
Hi Ryan,
I believe you can achieve this with synchronization between epwm6/7 and making sure epwm7 has the same period/duty cycle as epwm6a. Then applying the same deadband you did for epwm6, but on epwm7a.
What is the waveform you are trying to generate?
Best,
Ryan Ma
Thanks, I will give this a shot. I am building a 3 level T Type inverter, but I would like the option to run it as a two level inverter to compare performance. For three level, a power switch is complementary to one of the neutral leg switches, where in two level mode the half bridge power switches are complementary.
