LAUNCHXL-F28379D: programing the flash in the "ram_ex1_management" example

Hey, I am using the ram_ex1_management example on the LAUNCHXL-F28379D board. in this example the default programing option is programing the ram memory. I want to program (burn) the flash memory so I need some help to create a appropriate ".cmd" file. I am mew to working with this processor so I will be grateful to get example that fit the "ram_ex1_management" example for programing the flash memory.

    We have example flash-based target configuration files in our C2000Ware SDK

    C:\ti\c2000\{C2000WARE}\device_support\f2837xd\common\cmd

    It would be good to review the shared RAM configuration file in the project and compare it with the standard RAM target configuration file to see what part of file corresponds directly with shared RAM. Then you can apply the same adjustments to the flash based target configuration

  • Hi Shen,

    Are you getting any build errors with your edited linker command file? Can you show me the errors? Typically the compiler will notify you if there is something wrong with the linker command file

  • Hi Peter, I do not have any errors. but after I programing the micro controller the program will not run.

    Please confirm that you have followed the steps in the FAQ Peter provided previously. In particular, make sure step 5 (boot mode pin configuration) has been checked.
