If you have created a board using the TMS320F28388D and the LAN8710A PHY and want to implement EtherCAT using the C2000ware example,

Please let me know what I need to correct

Hi,

I don't know all the details of the LAN8710A PHY device. I have the guidance below to share:

Device will need to be in MII mode
Can put the device in 100Mbps mode
https://download.beckhoff.com/download/document/io/ethercat-development-products/an_phy_selection_guidev2.7.pdf sometimes has PHY guidance
LAN8710A device looks like it supports strap configuration for configuring the device rather than setting its registers, at least for some things
See if Microchip has some document for configuring the LAN8710A device for EtherCAT
- We have something like this for our DP83826 device
