LAUNCHXL-F28379D: Error connecting to the target: (Error -2131 @ 0x0)

Hi,

I am facing the below error on multiple launchpads.

Once I start seeing this error code 2131 then the launchpads cannot be used at all.

I have tried power cycle, reset button, unplugging and plugging the USB. Nothing works. I can detect the device with xds100serial.exe but trying to start a debug session keeps failing with 2131 error code.

Please let me know if this can be solved.

    Hi Rashmitha,

    Could you try putting the device in wait-boot mode then try to connect? Here are some tables from the Launchpad User Guide and from the F2837xD Technical Reference Manual. 

    Also, if you use the 'Test Connection' button in your Target Configuration file, what does the output log say?
