TMS320F28375S: Regarding Drift and Dynamic characteristics of microcontroller.

Part Number: TMS320F28375S

Hello TI,

As I have mention above the part number, I need to know the drift error and dynamic characteristics of the microcontroller with various temperature range.(such as Gain error, Offset error).

Waiting for your response.

Thank You.

    Hello TI,

As I have mention above the part number, I need to know the drift error and dynamic characteristics for ADC error calculation of the microcontroller with various temperature range.(such as Gain error, Offset error).

or you can suggest any reference for this.

    Waiting for your response.

    Thank You.

  • Hello Amit,

Is this with respect to the ADC or some other peripheral? The ADC's gain and offset error can be found in the ADC Characteristics table (section 7.10.1.2 ADC Electrical Data and Timing) of the datasheet. Let me know if you are looking for some other sort of error.

    Best regards,

    Omer Amir

  • Hello Omer,

    Thanks for your Reply!

I have already gone through the data that is given in the section 7.10.1.2 ADC Electrical Data and Timing, but it is given nominal error without considering any drift or dynamic error of respective (Gain error and Offset error).

So, I need to know the dynamic and drift values of both error for ADC over various temperature range.

    Waiting for your reply.

  • Hello Amit,

The specific data you're looking for is not present in our datasheet. When we test and characterize our device, we test across temperature and summarize the parameters, taking into account the averages and standard deviations. The devices are subjected to different environmental conditions as stated in the datasheet and then tested to verify they still meet the datasheet limits (even with respect to drift). We do not have the dynamic/drift values available, but the datasheet should cover exactly what the device is capable of given the recommended operating conditions (see section 7.4 Recommended Operating Conditions of the datasheet for more detail on what this means).

    Best regards,

    Omer Amir
