TMS320F2800137: TI SCI shipping example not working

Hi,

I was trying the following example in F2800137 : C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_4_03_00_00\device_support\f280013x\examples\sci\sci_ex1_echoback

In putty, This is the observed output.

I am not getting the actual message that is transmitted. Do I need to do any extra setting?

Hi Mukul,

Can you make sure your putty terminal settings match what is in the example's description (at the top of sci_ex1_echoback.c)? A screenshot of your putty terminal settings would help.

Hi Mukul,

There's a small error in the code. You need to update the SCILBAUD register with the value 0x0086 which is currently 0x0044 in the current code because of which there is a mismatch between baud rate.

SciaRegs.SCILBAUD.all = 0x0086;

This should resolve the issue.
