TMS320F28377D: PROGRAM STUCK AT MEMCPY.C DURING DEBUGGING

Can you show what the disassembly looks like at this point in the program? What were the steps you took took to migrate this program to CCSv12?

below is the disassembly file looks like

1. before starting debugging .

2. before executing the memcpy its like below

3.now during execution its look likes below and program is not going away from this 

regarding step which i have followed is like this.

1.code was build in the ccsv6 and compiler 6.2

2. i have changed compiler version to 22.6 and build done .

this are the steps i have followed.

When you use the assembly step options (the green arrows in the Disassembly view), does the program hit an ITRAP or does it stay stuck on the same instruction?

If you change the compiler version back to 6.2, does the program work as expected?

When i have changed the compiler at version 6.2.5 its works as expected.

Hello Vishal,

What is the address of memcpy (you can view this by opening the function as an expression or locating it in the memory browser)? Also, where is the memcpy.c file located (is it somewhere in C2000Ware or is it your own code)?

If you create a new project with the new compiler version (instead of changing the option in the project properties), does the error still occur? Are there any warnings or notes that show up while building the project?
