Hi Experts,

Our customer is planning to buy a LAUNCHXL-F28379D development board for TMS320F2837xD controller. He wanted to ask if TI supports Linux OS for this controller

From the description, I can see RTOS only. Please help confirm. Thank you so much in advance.

    Hi Gerald,

    You can install CCS and C2000Ware on Linux machine and you cab use Linux as host machine for development. On the target, it does not support Linux OS.

    TI RTOS is support on this device. 

    freeRTOS is supported on newer device F28002x and newer. However it is not supported on F28379D device.
