Hi Team,

My customer have some troubles to get the POC Classic or Runtime Obect View with RTOS to work.

Error is:
“XDC tools and XDC Path configuration must be specified in the Global Preferences before launch ROV
Specify the global RTSC configuration and proceed with launch? ”

We stopped updating XDStools before the F28003x series of devices was released, so I'm wondering if there's an issue with compatibility. The XDCtools release notes seem to indicate that device support isn't that specific (ti.targets.C28_float should be applicable), but I would not recommend trying to use it in any new projects.

Are they porting from an old project that used it or is this a new project?

They started with a new project and wanted to use this tool for the development.

Okay, understood. Like I said, we don't really recommend the use of these tools anymore. If they're looking for an RTOS, we recommend FreeRTOS which is now part of C2000Ware.

Yes they are using FreeRTOS with this device.
