TMS320F28335: cosf/sinf function in FastRTS lib

when FPUmathtables put in the original place, the cosf/sinf works fine

when FPUmathtables putt in the RAML3 or any other place the cosf/sinf malfunction

the problem is when i use math function powf, the FPUmathtables can not fit original place, i need to put it in other place

how can i deal with these? or the fastRTS just support sever trigonometric?

Can you please use the atan2_f32 example in the FPUFastRTS library? It has 2 build configurations, RAM_EABI (which doesn't use the ROMTABLES but uses the Tables provided in the FPUFastRTS library itself), and RAM_ROMTABLES (which uses ROMTABLES).

The linker command file has the corresponding differences:

this just the selection of FPUmathTables place

the RTS lib only have this selection, the project is built in coff format, program partly run in flash, partly in ram

I asked you to refer to the FPUFastRTS atan2_f32 example provided by TI, where we have created 2 build configurations. One of them uses ROM tables, one of them does not (it uses tables defined in the FPUFastRTS library itself).

These are the build configurations for the FPUFastRTS library, which are used to generate the .lib files which are present in the FPUFastRTS /lib folder in C2000Ware. You will link the library you want to use into your project.

Correct. The library you use (COFF/EABI) should match your project's output format (COFF/EABI).

in the FastRTS user guide， 4.2 said "none of the library functions use TMU instructions but the library is built with TMU support turned on"

No it won't. The documentation is incomplete. As I mentioned before, the TMU is needed for acosf and asinf operations implemented by the FPUFastRTS library.

i tested my prj in two ways, one copy the table to ram, one do not

when not copy, the sinf/cosf may return wrong value, far exceed the float32 number range

yeah, linker command defined these symbols

in the docs, said there were acosf/asinf function in the lib， maybe i can try these functions

there is neithor acosf nor asinf function in the FastRTS API, may call this function in the original lib

will TI develop a new mid performance device with EtherCAT connectivity?
