TMS320F28335: Condition to generate EPWM for only one module

Yes it is possible to not output any PWM signals on 1B. You can do this by not setting action qualifiers on any event for output B. Are you using a control card or launchpad?

Hi Ryan,

I understand that PWM 1A and 1B are produced if I enable the clock to PWM module 1. I can disable either one of them using the action qualifier setting.

However, my confusion is  that even though I have not configured the GPIO pin as a PWM pin using the GPAMUX1 register, I am still getting PWM for that pin.

By default I have configured the pin as an input pin i.e the value of corresponding GPIO bit is 0 in GPAMUX1 register.

Can you verify that your GPAMUX1 bits are 00 within the register view? Can you also verify that GPADIR is configured to 0 (input)?
