I am using MAX488 IC to interface with SPI part of the DSP board F28335 with absolute encoder GA240.030R005000 to sense the position of Switched reluctance motor. An issue has shown as there was not any signal came out from the IC so I need to check the connection between the three items is like that:
1- Pin 1 of IC connect with VCC 5V from DSP.
2- Pin 2 of IC connect with pin 17 from DSP.
3- Pin 3 of IC connect with pin 18 from DSP.
4- Pin 4 of IC connect with GND of DSP.
5- Pin 5 of IC connect with DATA+ of encoder.
6- Pin 6 of IC connect with DATA- of encoder.
7- Pin 7 of IC connect with CLK- of encoder.
8- Pin 8 of IC connect with CLK+ of encoder.
And using MATLAB c2000 Embedded package to get clock to SPI. "I used and example called loop master transfer to perform but I use only the clock pin "18" with the default setup of clocking"
SO, How can I build a working interface between these three items?
