TMS320F280049C: Error -2131 @ 0x0

Hello,

I'm using a custom board that uses TMS320F280049C. The board has worked for a few days but now I'm unable to connect to it and get the error code: Error -2131 @ 0x0.

I have tried power cycling and unplugging & plugging in the USB.

In my Target Configuration file, I tried 'Test Connection' below is my output log.

Please let me know if this issue can be resolved.

Hi,

So you have been able to load programs to this device previously? Could you try putting your device in wait boot mode?

Hi Ben,

Yes, I was able to previously load programs to this device. I tried putting it in 'Wait-boot mode' but I still wasn't able to connect.

Hi Jason,

Did you load your own program onto the device or was it a TI example? If it was a custom program, would you be comfortable sharing that with me in a private message? If so, I will send you a friend request. I would like to check if the program used GPIO35 or GPIO37, since those GPIOs use the same pins as the TDI and TDO JTAG signals.

Also, are you able to provide any more details about the last time you were able to connect to the device? Did you lose connection while running or stepping through your program? Also, just to confirm, is your program the same as it was when you were able to connect?
