LAUNCHXL-F28379D: Can The launchpad f28379d tolerate input of 5V on all its pins

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28379D

I have been using the launhpad with input 5v from a limit switch and suddenly a part on the board is burnt and the launchpad stopped working .

Can this be from the usage of 5v input ?
