TMS320F28379D: CAN BUS and ethernet port

I am currently using CAN BUS of TMS320F28379D. However, this controller does not have ethernet port support. It is an excellent controller for Motor control and power electronics.

1. Is there any way to do the ethernet communication using external hardware (preferable Development kit) and TMS320F28379D?

I want to develop remote automation over TCP/IP protocol.

2. Any development board based solution is preferable like LAUNCHXL-F28379D Development kit.

3. Any single compact development kit (Like STM32H743/753/742) for the solution of Motor control and power electronics with ethernet and CAN bus features?

Are you aware of the F2838x family? https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSCNCD28388D

It is based on the F28379D family and includes Ethernet. The tool linked above supports evaluation of Eithernet.

Thank you so much. After posting this comment, I found this series of controllers.

The price is $249 with an additional docking station ($50), whereas the F28379D launchpad is only $50.

1. Can we use a CAN bus to ethernet converter with the F28379D?

2. Is there any general-purpose CAN bus to the ethernet converter development board from TI for interfacing with F28379D?

I recognize that the tool's price is higher, however it encompasses many more features and requires more expensive PCB to be manufactured. These tools are for evaluation and development purposes, and are priced such that they are not prohibitive for these activities. This EVM should not be used in a end system.

There is no limitation for what you do with the CAN signals after they have been transmitted from the device.
I am not aware of one, however it is possible that one may exist.

I am searching for a cheap solution for the CAN to Ethernet converter ( specially EVM) from the TI, which will work for inexpensive boards like F28379D.
