Hi All,

in 28003x_generic_flash_lnk.cmd file

Length of origin is 2 bytes.

What does it mean ? what is 2 byte data?

In my generated hex file pink 2 byte data is there. what is exactly it is?

I do not want these 2 bytes in generated hex file. it is creating issue while flashing application using Flash bootloader.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Rahul,

0x80000 is application entry point because CPU jumps to that address after finishing BOOTROM execution. Generally this will have long branch instruction to jump to cinit code (this is in xxx_codestartbranch.asm code).

I don't think that should cause any issue. Can you explain why do you think this is an issue ?

Rahul,

As I mentioned, 0x80_0000 is entry point of application code where CPU will jump. If you don't have those two bytes, your application will not boot. It's like reset vector which need to be populated with correct entry point.

I am still not clear on what is the issue you are facing with this ?
