Hi Experts,
Customer has the 3M Hz sine wave analog signal, and they want to sample at least 100 points in a period. Could we use the SDFM? Thanks.

No, SDFM doesn't accept analog signal. It accepts only digital bitstream and clock signal.
Shaoxing,
No, AMC1306 works on oversamping and noiseshaping @ 20 MHz with maximum Input bandwidth of 800 KHz.

Hi Manoj,
If 8 sigma delta samples are collected in parallel, can a 3M signal be collected? Thanks.
There is unfortunately no possible solution to sample a 3 MHz signal using SD-modulator and SDFM.

Manoj
Shaoxing,
To get 100 samples for a 3 MHz signal, you need to ADC which samples at 300 MSPS. This would give 100 samples / cycle.
https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/adc16dx370.pdf (This part can support upto 370 MSPS). But, how will you interface this with F280049? We don't have interface in F280049 which you can use to get digital output from this ADC device.

Manoj
Hi Manoj,
How about the EMIF from the digital signal. Customer will also consider F2838x
