TMDSCNCD28388D: Establishing Modbus TCP communication between a computer and the DSP

Part Number: TMDSCNCD28388D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Hello Team,

Posting on behalf of my customer:

I was trying to write a code for Establishing Modbus TCP communication between a computer and the DSP(TMDSCNCD28388D) using the  LWIP stack that exists in the Ethernet examples in the C2000_VMWARE. But can you give me any directions or any example code that can solve my problem? I am struck by this problem for quite some time and would be much obliged if you can help me in this regard. Also, what changes are to be made in the Ethernet Source code file so that the Computer can act as a Modbus Server and the DSP(Delfino) can act as a Modbus Client? Are there any existing libraries with the TI that supports the Modbus-Tcp Microcontroller Units? I am new to this Dsp so might be having some trivial questions. I already know that there is an Existing GitHub library by Bruno Louis that supports the Modbus Serial Communication protocol. But right now I am interested in working on or developing a Modbus-TCP code using the LWIP stack. I would be much obliged if someone can help me in this regard.

Regards,

Renan
