If I am driving a 20kHz PWM at the gates of my full bridge inverter, do I need the HRPWM or just the regular PWM?
Thanks.
Hello Tekster,
Taking a look at the device technical reference manual (TRM) Table 26-15. Resolution for PWM and HRPWM, we can see a lot of technical data regarding what the device is capable of- most importantly, though, we can see the note below that table (emphasis mine)!
Further detail on the exact capabilities of the ePWM and HRPWM are available in the device datasheet, but I've found this note to be generally accurate. Regular ePWM should work fine, no need for HRPWM.
Regards,
Jason Osborn
