TMS320F28379D: Potential Timing Issue:Shadow Register Load on Count-Compare in ePWM Module in TMS320F28379D

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Hello TI,

I'm using TMS320F28379D. I have a quetion when using ePWM module.

I have set the ePWM Time-base in up-down mode. I am using CMPA to generate the ePWMxA output. In the AQ submodule, I have set CAD = AQ_SET and CAU = AQ_CLEAR. Additionally, I have set the counter-compare in shadow mode and load CMPA on CTR = PRD.

My question is: If I change CMPA to PRD from different value, is there a possibility that the CMPA load from the shadow register requires some time and could result in missing the Action-Qualifier CAD = AQ_SET, thereby not setting ePWMxA high?

Thank you for your assistance.
